A new generation of internet marketplaces is now viable. They create new potential for Personalising Social Care.
We are a UK Social Enterprise that designs and implements marketplaces for more flexible public services. In 2005 we were commissioned by ODPM/CLG to create the “Slivers-of-Time Working” programme to tackle worklessness.
We have now launched Slivers-of-Time marketplaces for Local Authorities including Leeds CC, LBH&F and City of London. Our marketplaces have won a Prime Minister’s Technology Catalyst Award and been promoted by bodies including: The TUC, National Audit Office, I&DEA, Local Government Association and SCIE.
A new marketplace can be a vital part of any Personalisation programme. We have been commissioned by the Cabinet Office Innovation Exchange to develop marketplaces for direct Person-to-Person Support.
