Core Team

People around the country work on launching our markets. They are employed by Local Authorities, Social Enterprises and commercial recruitment agencies. Technology development is outsourced. And, of course, we use a lot of Slivers-of-Time Workers with differing skills to make our operation particularly responsive and efficient. We have only a few core employees.

"Team Slivers" is currently made up of people with a range of skills: high-tech operations, business development, account management in technology companies, Economic Development in Local Government and technical journalism. These are the faces you're likely to encounter in our offices.

	Chairman Paul Barry-Walsh Founder of Safety Net and Netstore (a data outsourcing provider) plus charity: Fredericks Foundation. 2008 Winner of Queen's Award to Industry. European Philanthropist of the Year 2009.
	Non Executive Director Andrew Mackay Formerly a long standing MP, Shadow Minister and Senior Parliamentary and Political Advisor to David Cameron. For many years, Andrew worked within the Parlaimentary Conservative Party to develop policy possibilities around advanced e-markets.

	Project Director Wingham Rowan Former presenter of the UK's longest running TV series about the Internet and author of two books about Slivers-of-Time technology.
	Senior Project Manager Richard Manby Account manager for e-commerce and software suppliers. Former teacher in developing countries.
	Senior Project Manager Harriet Cain Public Sector senior manager with 25 years experience in London Boroughs spanning Adult Social Services, Economic Regeneration and Customer Services.
	Business Development Manager Paul Brown Formally a finance specialist in the computer visual effects market, now a Business Development Manager with 25 years experience in the IT industry.
	Office Manager Carol Rose Office Manager with over 12 years experience in both start-up and long term businesses involving sales support, training, mentoring and ensuring smooth running of large multi-site business’ within Local Authority, Financial Services and Executive Recruitment.
	Account Manager Tonye Brown Marketing graduate. Former retail supervisor and Student Union co-ordinator.
	Head of Operations Naveed Parvez Ex lastminute.com, NHS Direct, NHS IT and other advanced computer/human interfacing operations.
	Senior Developer Tom Baldwin Expert in Java Development and Object Orientated Analysis and Design. Founder of Polymorphism UK.
	Team Support Anna Guled Arts Graduate and Former Slivers-of-Time Seller (Bookings: 15, Hours 264, Market Level: 3)
	Market Support Leo Andrade Former Slivers-of-Time seller: (Bookings: 13, Hours sold: 152, Market Level: 4) Previously in sales for a charity.
